TRUSTED BY OUR COMMUNITIES | PROVEN LEADERSHIP TO DELIVER | LEAD WITH INCLUSION & ACCOUNTABILITY
Once a Big Four auditor, seeking
transparency and accountability is par for the course. I am the elected AD24 EBoard representative, CDP Rules and DNC National Finance Committee member. I founded COMMIT2EIGHT to promote continued investment in the Democratic Party, our candidates and organizations.
I serve on the East Palo Alto City Council, served as Mayor and Vice Mayor, and am a board member on the Peninsula Democratic Club. As an experienced Government Affairs Manager for an Education Tech Company, equal access to education, addressing food insecurity, affordable housing, and protecting the values of the Democratic Party are critical.
I'm a LASD Trustee and passionate proponent for public schools. Knowing how a strong public school education can help the underserved achieve success, I am dedicated to ensuring that public schools continue to allow every child to succeed no matter their socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, language, or learning style.
Having worked in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors and in tech to address complex policy issues, I have the experience to make progressive values a reality.
I've also worked for Rep. Barbara Lee on land use and immigration issues and for affordable housing & environmental nonprofits.
I am a former Palo Alto mayor and returning Councilmember.
I believe our party must be the driving force for a society
ensuring greater justice and economic equality for all.
California must lead globally in climate protection and provid-
ing a vibrant, sustainable economy for future generations.
I am a member of the Palo Alto school board and have pursued a progressive agenda to close the opportunity gap and strengthen civil rights protections for students. We established wellness centers, providing students strengthened mental health support. I believe our Party must serve our diverse communities with transparency and inclusion.
I am Sunnyvale's first directly elected mayor. I have led a life of public service, actively listening to residents and championing those who don't have a voice, and would fight for these Democratic values at the state level. I am a strong advocate for affordable housing, safe active transportation, and quality community services.
I am the CEO of OutreachCircle and a former president of the Los
Altos School Board. I have two passions–fixing our democracy
and improving our education system. I have helped elect 1,000s
of progressive candidates in all 50 states and serve on the
boards of multiple education nonprofits.
As a teacher, education researcher, and Palo Alto school board member, I have worked for over 25 years to close the opportunity gap and help all students reach their potential. It is more clear than ever that we must focus government action on health care, climate, and systemic racism.
I'm the Housing Project Manager for the City of East Palo Alto and a Menlo Park Housing Commissioner. I’m running because I believe our party can best serve all Californians by focusing on equity and opportunity and engaging fully on the toughest challenges our state faces.
I was elected to the Menlo Park City Council in 2018, serving as mayor in 2020. My background is in early childhood education and college mathematics instruction. As a former educator and current elected official, I believe a bottom-up approach is necessary to truly reach equal rights & social justice for all Californians no matter their race or economic status.
The saying, "politics is local" has served as a touchstone. Efforts at the community level have embodied my commitment to progressive advancement around issues of housing, transportation and equity. My service on the bike commission led to a role on the planning commission and on the Menlo Park City Council where I will be serving as mayor.
I have served on the Mountain View City Council for the last 8 years and was our city’s first openly LGBT elected official and youngest mayor. I’ve fought hard to maintain our region’s diversity and core values by championing housing, environmental sustainability, raising the minimum wage, and making government more accessible.
I am a first generation college graduate from UC Berkeley with a degree in Legal Studies and Public Policy and a Planning Commissioner for the City of East Palo Alto. My priorities are affordable housing, promoting and developing sustainable communities and access to education.
